Sometimes you have to get out, even if the sky is dark and rain looms and the temperature is low. The kids don't always agree at first but we are determined to encourage them to enjoy stillness, slowness, simplicity; to day-dream rather than fill the space with distraction; to be in nature and notice the smallest things. It's lovely to be together and sit and talk and listen, whittle, watch, wander. I don't always take photos but sometimes there are so many textures, colours, plays of light, views, that I think one day I will refer back to. For painting mainly.

Another Hottie cover on the way...
|All the fruity goodness coming from the neighbourhood....|
And a spontaneous late night bread tasting/ making workshop with the lovely Mara.Very exciting to receive transmission and now be making a loaf alone. I've tried many times to make bread that tastes good. I think under Mara's tuition the mysteries are revealed and we may no loner need to spend a small fortune on one of our family staples.
